Anime's I've watched

PRINCE OF TENNIS

This is the first anime I've watched and the very influence of my anime addiction. It's not realistic and really romantic, but the characters are so lovable and irresistible ~esp. Kunimitsu Tezuka. :P I've watched this anime more than 10x from beginning 'til the National Tournament (No joke).

HUNTER x HUNTER

One of my top 10. Definitely fun and addictive. It's just that the next season hasn't come out yet that is why I was forced to read the manga. Gon and Killua are definitely adorable and cute. :)

DEATHNOTE

A good friend gave me a copy as a birthday gift. It's plot is unique and really different from the usual anime's I've watched. Very exciting to watch and will definitely give you the chills. I've never watched it again though because it might haunt me in my dreams.

FUSHIGI YUUGI and MAGIC KNIGHT RAYEARTH

My childhood favorite, along side Magic Knight Rayearth. I even have a poster of Tamahome and Miyaka on my closet door. haha.. It was really a cool anime although I didn't like the OVAs as much as i liked the first season.

MGK on the other hand was really the "for kids with puppy love" type of anime although I really love Hikaru and Lantis. There were no kissing scenes nor hug scenes by the way.. haha

ANTIQUE BAKER

It will make you drool over the cakes. haha. It's a splice-of-life type of anime that I barely like but somehow, this anime went beyond my expectations. Oh! And the live-action (Korean production) was worth watching, just watch out for the shounen-ai scenes which I really appreciated but may seem too vulgar for the sensitives. :)

ITAZURA NA KISS

I've watched it for about more than 5 but less than 10 times. It will make you cry because of happiness and sadness as well. It's a very ideal and at the same time realistic love story anyone should watch. :)

CLANNAD

All-in-one anime. My most favorite of all time. It will definitely make you cry!:) Something worth repeating.

INITIAL D

The most recent anime I've finished in 2 days. haha. COOL anime. Even the girls (like me) will enjoy watching it 'til the 4th stage.

DETECTIVE CONAN

I've finished 'til episode 174 and somehow, I've decided to finish it some other time which is not soon. :)

NODAME CANTABILE

The BEST. No need to elaborate. Although I was a little disappointed with the ending of the Finale Season. hehe

OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB and THE WALL FLOWER

FUN and NICE. Although the endings were also left hanging, the manga's will save you. :)

HAYATE NO GOTOKU

KUROSHITSUJI - One of my top 10 favorites. YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS! It's a lot better than Deathnote. :P

SOLA

NANA - I didn't like how the story moved forward (you'll know when you read the manga). It's a depressing anime.

GAKUEN HEAVEN - Very nice yaoi anime. REALLY!

LEVEL C - hard core yaoi.

SENSITIVE PORNOGRAPH - hard core yaoi.

KIMI NI TODOKE - the anime will somehow leave you unsatisfied but the manga will prove to you how lovable the story is. :)

JUNJOU ROMANTICA - the BEST yaoi I've watched. much better than the other romantic-love boy-girl anime I've watched.

GETBACKERS - really COOL! i'm still waiting for a 3rd season.

CHOBITS

HAJIME NO IPPO - the effect is like Initial D's effect on me. It's something really worth-watching. Waiting for a 3rd season.

ONEGAI TEACHER

ANGEL SANCTUARY - incest type of anime. I won't really suggest it, not because of its immoral theme but rather because the story, for me, isn't that good.

VAMPIRE KNIGHT - favorite!! :) it's a very nice anime although the gist of the story will not be featured in the anime rather its in the manga. The anime became sort of an introduction to the story yet it's still worth watching.

CAUTION: Unknown job offer is dangerous to your life.

Now is not the right time to joke around with me especially if the topic is "JOB". I am not really looking for one but (unfortunately) I am waiting for one. I know I am a total ass for being lazy and impatient at the same time. This kind of thinking is really disturbing me but for now, I really don't have the money, the effort and the determination to start hunting for a normal day job. I have the qualifications though (I think) but I guess I'm still waiting for the "Hey you! Get a move!" kind of signal to start walking, you know what I mean.

Anyway, I got a call a while ago from a former classmate (who I consider in between a mere acquaintance and a friend) and offered me a job for NS International located at 15F Ortigas Center, San Miguel Avenue, Makati Center. It was a good offer: 15k-20k, part time, with training. I was set to have an appointment at 3:30 in their office in business attire. No requirements needed, only a valid ID. I was really interested at first and found it really promising yet there are some questions that made me doubt the legitimacy of the offer.

First, when I asked about the company, all he EVER answered was "It is a U.S. Company" and nothing more. I've asked him thrice about the profile of the company and have not received any decent reply.

Second, I asked what particular job will I be doing and he said, "It's a management and training type of job" for a particular project. It really sounded decent at first but when I asked if I have to bring my resume, he said, I don't have to, I just have to bring a valid I.D. which made me think, how the hell will they know my qualifications for the job then??

Anyway, I researched a bit and found nothing about the said company. The only thing that provided me information is a blog stating that the said offer is a SCAM. It's not your normal day job kind of thing, but rather a networking company. According to the blog, they don't do email informing. All transactions are done on SMS and everything will be explained face-to-face (whether you like it or not).

Oh well, I don't think I was really fooled rather just misinformed. What made me a little upset was the fact that he has to offer me a job that will take me more than 300 pesos for transportation from Pampanga to Makati and 6 hours of travel (to and fro) to reach their office for an interview, which will more likely turn out to be A BUSINESS PROPOSAL that I WILL AUTOMATICALLY DECLINE!

Oh well, you guys better watch out. You have to always research on the company you would want to work for FIRST and FOREMOST before jumping into it. Okay? I have no problems either with the company or with this type of business but it would have been better if such "marketing consultants" will inform their "recommended individuals" of what to expect and the real deal of such offer.

いたずらなキス - The Best Comedy Love Story

ITAZURA NA KISS

SETTING

a. place: local high school

The choice of the location where the story took place was well-thought of because it really highlighted the exceptional intelligence ability of Naoki.

b. time: ordinary time

This adds to the marketability of the anime. Teenage watchers (which I believe were the target audience) are most likely to love and adore the story.

c. social conditions

Apparently, this is what makes this anime apart from the rest. The idea of Naoki and Kotoko becoming housemates for like FOREVER is really something to look forward to especially, given that both characters are extreme opposites.

d. mood / atmosphere: genius guy hates stupid girls, stupid girl adores genius guy

The initial mood allows the watchers to be more interested which will most like make them "can't get enough of it".

PLOT

The plot follows the traditional chronology of events: happiness - problem - solution - happiness. Though it may seem a little too predictable, such story line makes it even more enjoyable. It will make you watch the following episodes because it gives you the assurance of the problem being solved.

CONFLICT

Type : both external and internal conflicts are present

Kind: Man vs circumstances; Man vs himself/herself

The conflicts are the typical type of problems faced by lovers : jealousy, low self-esteem, trust issues, right vs true love, etc. but what makes it really interesting and lovable is how they were projected by each character. DEFINITELY A MUST-SEE ANIME!!

CHARACTERS

The drawing was not really that good but they were able to project each character's personality like Naoki being the good-looking, intelligent, unemotional, tall guy and Kotoko being the clumsy, cute but not pretty, stupid, emotional, short girl. Although I have a little violent reaction when it comes to Kinnosuke's features, it somehow made the anime more comical than expected.

The choice of personalities is definitely perfect and well-portrayed.

OVER-ALL : 9.5/10
